arabic lesson: negation

During the period I've lived in Finland, the feeling of alienation cleared up temporarily, while hearing the Arabic lnaguage spoken in public spaces. In a collaboration with the Iraqi-Finnish theatre actor Omar Albajare, my wish was to heal the longing for home through practicing my national Identity.

In the work "Arabic Lesson: Negation" We've created an audio book of the Israeli-Arabic language, based on study materials by the Civil Administration in the occupied terrtories, that I've used daily within my army service. The structure of the conversation begins with casual questions, slowly deteriorating towards interrogation.
