DENOST

In order to deal with the memories reeking of nostalgia for my homeland, I sought to cure the longing for the familiar by erasing the personal and replacing it with a primitive representation of the collective subconscious.
this work depicts an ongoing conversation with several primitive models for machine learning, which convert image to text and text to image.

A collection of images from the past that have an emotional charge, were turned by one model into a statistical database of word collections. Generic descriptions that felt far from memory were marked manually and submitted
to another model that would create a new image. This processw was many times, until the memories were forgotten and replaced with a new meaning.
